Carrie Hart is a dedicated professional who’s served in the nonprofit, state, and healthcare sectors over her 20-year career. Her role as the Community Outreach and Partnerships Manager at Bayhealth reflects her commitment to helping others by connecting community members with essential healthcare and other resources.
Ms. Hart oversaw the Governor’s Volunteer Awards for Delaware from 2007 to 2015, recognizing and celebrating the contributions of volunteers, highlighting their commitment to community engagement. Ms. Hart is an active member of committees both within Bayhealth and the community.
Peter enjoyed participating in physical activities during his college time at Glassboro State College, and Texas A & M University.
After receiving his Commission in the US Army at Temple University, he frequently participated in Biathlon and Triathlon events. As an active member of the 500 member Harrisburg Bicycle Club, he enjoyed cycling through the rural areas of Pennsylvania, and also learning bicycle maintenance during the winter months. As a Member of the inaugural AmeriCorps class, he helped organize bicycling activities for children in the Dover Housing Authority neighborhoods.
During his tenure as an Elementary School teacher, he planned and conducted Bicycle Safety classes and Bicycle Helmet Give-Aways.
Now being active in the Free Bikes 4 Kidz program, he enjoys the opportunity to continue contributing to the community helping kids be physically active.

Amanda Downes has spent her more than twenty-five-year career in the non-profit sector, specifically in higher education and healthcare.
Through her experience spanning public relations, advancement, fundraising, communications and marketing, she has developed initiatives, built relationships, and managed projects to grow engagement and help community organizations fulfill their missions.
Ms. Downes has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and an MBA. She has served as a marketing professional in Bayhealth’s Marketing, Communications and Community Outreach Department since 2018.
Ms. Downes lives with her husband and daughter in Lewes, Delaware. The family time they enjoy includes biking and trips to the beach.
Mark was the owner, manager and chief mechanic of Jules Bicycle Shoppe, Inc. Located in Darien CT, Jules sold everything from road and mountain bikes to tandems, hybrids and children’s bikes, as well as a full line of clothing and accessories.
Jules also provided repair services on all types of bicycles from old 3-speeds to the latest and newest technologies.
Mark owned Jules for nearly twelve years before earning an MBA and transitioning into a new career as a physician recruiter at Bayhealth.
Mark is excited to bring his bicycle knowledge to FB4K and is thrilled to be able to get his hands dirty again.
Mark and his wife Barbara live in Smyrna. They enjoy travel, camping, bicycling, reading and spending time with time with Mark’s sons, daughters-in-law, and three grandchildren.
